30 Years of Industry Experience

My journey into construction began in the early 1990s when my stepfather asked if I wanted to learn a little carpentry while helping him with a few projects. At the time, I couldn't even hold a hammer correctly, struggled to read a tape measure, and was more than a little intimidated by his miter saw. Over the next several years, I gradually built both my confidence and my collection of tools while learning the fundamentals of finish carpentry, framing, log home construction, and a variety of skilled trades.

At the time, I never imagined construction would become my career, but life has a way of leading us down unexpected paths.

Over the following three decades, I gained hands-on experience in nearly every aspect of residential finish construction, including drywall, painting, finish carpentry, doors and windows, flooring, cabinetry, siding, tile and natural stone, trim work, and finish repairs. Along the way, I served as a lead carpenter, construction supervisor, estimator, sales manager, project manager, homeowner warranty manager, and self-employed finish repair specialist.

Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to experience residential construction from nearly every perspective—the tradesperson performing the work, the project manager coordinating schedules, the warranty manager addressing homeowner concerns, and the quality professional evaluating finished products. Those experiences ultimately inspired the creation of Ridgetop Quality Services.

Today, my mission is simple:

Provide homeowners with professional and reliable home repair / maintenance services.

Provide builders with high quality punch-out services in nearly all areas of finish work
